Lost & Found Pets
If you have lost a pet as a result of a natural disaster, please take the following steps.

1) Fill out this Animal Rescue Request Form provided by Boulder Office of Emergency Management.

2) Please complete and submit a Lost Report for your pet with Longmont Humane Society and Boulder Valley Humane Society. Links provided here. Longmont Humane Society Lost Report, Boulder Valley Humane Society Lost Report.

Public Pet Pantry
Community members are invited to visit our Public Pet Pantry during regular business hours of 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday – Thursday and 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday to access our inventory of free pet supplies including food, bedding, leashes, collars and more. Enter through Intake Lobby/East Entrance.

Pet Loss Support Resources
If you have experienced the loss of a pet, a number of supportive resources are available to you including grief support and aftercare services free of charge. Access a list of pet loss grief support resources here. Longmont Humane Society offers cremation services. To request assistance from Longmont Humane Society please call 303-772-1232.

Safe Keep Services
If you have been displaced from your home by an emergency outside of your control, Longmont Humane Society may be able to offer safe, secure short-term, temporary boarding services for your pet. There is a fee for this service and an application is required. Availability is limited and we are occasionally unable to provide services due to capacity issues. Emergency Preparation with your Animals
 Presented by Office of Disaster Management for City of Boulder & Boulder County
A seminar on how to include your pet when preparing for disaster evacuation. The presentation will cover topics such as; emergency alert systems, evacuation center locations for animals, and how to create an emergency preparedness kit for your pet.
