LHVC Veterinarian
1 Full-time, 1 Part-time
Pay Range: $55.00 – $60.00 per hour

The Veterinarian serves as the medical leader of the practice, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment that results in excellent treatment experiences for the patients and clients we serve, as well as an excellent employment experience for the practice’s patient care team. 

The Veterinarian works with the LHVC team to help ensure that quality and appropriate veterinary medicine is performed within the practice. Additionally, they partner with the Practice Manager in matters of general management, staffing/scheduling, as well as ensuring that operational and financial goals are met. 

This position provides a great opportunity to care for our community while serving and assisting in a shelter environment. Our clinic shares its space with our shelter healthcare team, complementing our mission and setting up a cohesive, team environment. Our focus is on our shelter companion animals, while also providing quality care to the community. 

Events & Outreach Coordinator
Full-time

$58,000.00 – $60,000.00 annually

This position coordinates Longmont Humane Society’s (LHS) events and outreach programs to engage the community while focusing on meeting revenue goals. This position reports to the Director of Philanthropy. Some of the duties of this role are as follows:

Plans and executes all details of events including budgeting and financial reconciliation, logistical preparation, permitting, vendor negotiation, and follow-up.

Maintains and adheres to a calendar of events, including event dates, sponsorship deadlines, and marketing deadlines.

Maintains relationships with existing/past sponsors, and seeks opportunities for support from the corporate community including sponsorship and corporate philanthropy.

Coordinates third party events, evaluating participation and resource allocation in accordance with organizational guidelines.

Stewards positive relationships with the community through participation in events representing LHS in a positive, professional manner.
