LHS provides a variety of benefits to all employees, including discounted veterinary care, pet supplies, adoption fees and free dog training classes. Employees working 30+ hours per week may be eligible for health, dental, 403(b), and life insurance; LHS subsidizes over 70% the employee’s cost of our health plan to keep it as affordable as possible.

Available Positions

Veterinarian – Well Pet Clinic ($5,000 sign-on bonus as of 5/2/2024)
Full-time, $99,840.00 – $120,640.00 annually

The Well Pet Clinic provides fast-paced medical care and surgery services to the patients of the Well Pet Clinic (publicly owned pets). This person works closely with the medical team to ensure high quality care for its large volume of patients. This position reports to the Well Pet Clinic Manager.

Client Care Team Member
Part-time, $15.75 per hour

Client Care Team Members demonstrate high quality customer service while interacting with clients, actively promoting adoptions, and facilitating animal intakes while following protocols, demonstrating excellent critical thinking, and consistently paying attention to detail. This position reports to the AWT Shelter Manager.
