Please note: To allow ample time for adoptions and visits, these processes must begin before 5:00 pm. In addition, a current photo ID is required for everyone over 18 for animal visits, adoptions, and surrenders.

LOST or FOUND PET: If you have found or are looking for a lost pet, no appointment is necessary. Please visit our Intake/Lost & Found Desk during regular business hours.

SURRENDERING A PET: If you are considering surrendering your pet, we may be able to help by providing resources to help keep or rehome your companion. If you must surrender your pet to the shelter, please call (303) 772-1232 or email info@longmonthumane.org to schedule an appointment. Surrender appointments are available from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. daily.
