Longmont Humane Society's 16th annual spring fundraiser - Ella's Walk: In memory of Meredith Hope Emerson as a tribute to the Longmont resident who was tragically killed in 2008.

The walk is 3-miles along the St. Vrain Greenway from the Boulder County Fairgrounds picnic shelter park at the corner of Hover and Nelson Rd. through Rogers Grove onto the first Golden Pond then back to Boulder County Fairgrounds. 

The Furry Friends Festival is held at the picnic shelter park during and after the walk.  Festival includes live music by Mojomama, brunch provided by local eateries and Mutt Main Street where pet-friendly merchants abound.  There will also be dog-tastic demonstrations, low-cost microchipping and a veterinarian from Aspen Meadow Veterinary Specialists to answer all your pet-related medical questions.
