Longmont Humane Society is pleased to announce a Barn Cat Placement pilot program. We are looking for cat lovers who have a barn or other secure outdoor structure that are interested in adopting cats that are not suitable for indoor pet placement. Cat temperaments range from feral to friendly. We provide:

• spay/neuter
• first set of distemper shots
• worming
• general exam

You provide:

• nutritious food
• water
• rabies vaccination
• future veterinary care when needed
• a permanent protected place to live

This program is designed to find homes for cats that have traditionally been deemed un-adoptable through our “normal” adoption procedures. If you have a safe, warm barn and would like to fill it with a cat or two, please call or come by the shelter to pick up an application and the program specifics. Due to the nature of the program, we may not have a suitable cat available immediately, but will try to fill your request as soon as possible.

Adoption fees are $35 for an individual and $50 for a pair.
