Tundra here…(aka Miles during my LHS foster life) .  I’ve attached a few pictures of me enjoying life husky style.  I like long hikes up the mountain with my babe Chloe (the Tundraone with the all white mask) by my side, pulling my kick sled, (as you can see, I do most of the work but Chloe’s cute so that is okay by me), and relaxing with some of my pack.  I am kind of a “life is good” pup.  I came to LHS with 6 other siblings and my mom and dad.  I went into foster care with two of my sisters and was lucky enough to get adopted right away.  I have been with the Fisher pack for over 2 years now and I am having a great time.  I just wanted to thank LHS for all of the hard work they do and the great life they (and of course my foster mom Sara) gave me before I started this one.  You guys are the best – thanks for making sure I got to go into a good home that loves me, exercises me and keeps me well fed and warm.Tundra

Hi!  My name is Sunshine Day - "Sunny" for short!  When I left LHS in June 2008 I was called “Sunburst” – but my new forever family decided that I had brought sunshine into their lives, so that was my new name.  When I moved here to Louisville, my family had to take special care of me because I had an infection in my eyes.  But they made sure I got my eye drops every day and soon the infection went away! SunnyIt It was then that I met my new best friend, Cinders.  We’re both the same age, both play-loving girls and we love playing and spending time together!  I love my forever home and I am so happy to spend my time sitting on Mommy’s lap or Daddy’s shoulder or chasing Cinders around the house!

Mommy said I should tell everyone at LHS “Thank You” for  taking such good care of me until I found my forever home!
